‘Twisted Fusion’ with Twisted Sisterhood £12

In this gothic fusion workshop with Pauline Q you will explore how to fuse the darker side of your persona into your performance, exploring some of the new combo’s from the British Tribal Style gals.

‘Techno Toba’ with Emma Chapman £12

“Techno Toba” Come and learn a high energy choreography packed with Egyptian technique fresh from Cairo – from high energy drama to melting softness to amazing shimmies!

 

1 hour Lunchtime – There are a couple of local pubs or you can bring a pack lunch

1.00pm - 3.00pm

 American Tribal Style with Moirai £12

Moriai will take you through some of the core movements from fat chance Belly dance repertoire, covering posture, and isolations including how to lead and follow within a group as well as transitions and formations. If you have zills bring then with you.

‘To the beat of the drum’ Drum Rhythms for Egyptian Dance with Asif from  £12

Come along and explore the different rhythms within the realm of Egyptian dance. Get to grips with the way rhythms merge with dancer & dancer merges with rhythm. If you have a drum or zills bring them along.

All will be welcome to join in the drum jam at the haffla

½ hour Coffee Break – Tea & Coffee, biscuits and water will be provided

3.30pm – 5.30pm

Theatrical Fusion – dancing outside of the box with Neo Hips £12

Come along with attitude ready to strut your stuff in brand new, not to be missed highly energetic tribal fusion workshop with Ki from Neo hips.  

 

Dance of the Gawarzee, traditional Gypsy dance of Luxor with Claire Morgan. £12

From roots to modern day Claire’s love of Egyptian dance is infectious, come along and see how to bring alive on stage the traditional gypsy dances of Luxor.

Important Workshop Details:
Each workshop is suitable for all levels, the teachers are happy to work with mixed levels of abilities.
Each workshop is £12, book 3 for £30, maximum if 20 people in each workshop in room 1 and 15 people in room 2.
Please wear suitable clothing for your workshop, harem pants or melodia’s and bring a pair of socks or soft dance shoes. You may also want bring a skirt with you especially for Dance of the Gawarzee & the ATS classes.
