Imajica are always trying to create new and exciting choreographies that are strongly interlinked with music that inspires them. Each of our choreographies tells a story, how music and movement intertwine. Expressionism and individual interpretation is vital to the life Imajica breath into each performance. Imajica takes you on an adventure, one we hope you will enjoy. Contemporary dance offers us the creators the opportunity and growth, to create something of the now, built from that which has come before. .

Lyrical Jazz is my most favourite within the jazz genre; again the fusion of music and movement is something magical. When creating choreography I spend a long time connecting with the music, listening to it over and over, finding accents and inter-locking rhythms. After a while I start to visualise movement and so the creating process begins. For me knowing the lyrics in a song is vital to the authenticity. Of course words can mean have different meanings to each of us but the mood has to come through in the dance, for the audience to truly connect with us.
